FAQ
We offer preschool classes for children ages 2 to 4.
Our PK2 program is for students who are 2 years old.
Our PK3 program is for students who are 3 years old, as well as students who turn 4 after September 1.
Our Prekindergarten program is for students who turn 4 before September 1 and are fully potty trained.
PK2 and PK3 classes are open from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Prekindergarten is open from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
PK2 and PK3 begin on the first Wednesday of August and run through the last Friday of May.
Prekindergarten follows the Wesleyan Christian School calendar exactly.
All preschool programs are closed on days when WCS is not in session.
Each day includes a balance of structured learning, hands-on activities, play, story time, rest time, and Bible instruction. We use the Abeka curriculum, which incorporates art, Bible, letters and sounds, math, language development, the alphabet, and music. Students follow a consistent routine that helps build confidence and independence.
All classes have a daily rest time, and students participate in chapel once a week.
Parents provide diapers, one snack, and personal care items such as diaper cream, sunscreen, and infant formula or milk if needed.
Wesleyan Christian Preschool is certified through ACSI and DHS. Our program is designed to meet all required guidelines and provide a safe, high-quality environment for students.
