Fine Arts

The Wesleyan Christian School Fine Arts Department is committed to excellence in the visual and performing arts.

WCS Instrumental Program
Beginning in the fifth grade and extending through high school WCS band students make an impression on the audiences at each of their musical performances throughout the year. Under the direction of beginning band director, Holly Deibert and band instructor, Brian Frederick, the band program continues to grow in excellence. WCS Music Program
The music program is under the direction of Mrs. Lauren Thompson. She is an excellent performer as well as an instructor. She has many creative and engaging methods to challenge her students. The students have many opportunities throughout the year to showcase their abilities. In addition, she produces an all-school musical in the spring.

WCS Art Program
Mrs. Dana Ferrell is the art instructor for Pre-K through 12th grades Students with gifts and talents in art have an opportunity to express themselves in a broad range of art media. Their art pieces are displayed throughout the year. WCS was pleased to host the district ACSI Art Festival in the spring of 2010 under Miss Ferrell’s leadership. The festival not only gave our students the opportunity to have their art judged, but exposed them to the works of other student artists.
